From Biel at the very beginning, to Magglingen to escape the fog and discover sports medicine, then on to Basel to practice sports medicine in clinics and with athletes, and finally to Ticino, always with a focus on sports medicine. Not forgetting the countless activities with national and international sports and sports medicine federations, a hodgepodge of acronyms unknown to most: FSS, FIS, FIFA, CIO, FIMS, EFSMA, CISM and others, not forgetting the thread that has guided me since 1971, the SSMS renamed SEMS. And most importantly: a faithful wife and 3 sons of whom I am proud. And my grandchildren!
