RUTH METZLER

Former Federal Councillor and member of the cantonal government Ruth Metzler-Arnold is a multiple chairwoman and member of boards of directors and boards of trustees in very different sectors, including as a member of the board of directors of the private clinics group Swiss Medical Network and the family-run psychiatry and psychotherapy group Clienia. After her time as a member of the Federal Council, she held management positions in Switzerland and abroad for Novartis for several years and chaired the Swiss Sports Aid Foundation. An active track and field athlete in her youth, she is now a multi-sport athlete and has completed the New York Marathon three times.
